Angels Would Fall | More than a Feeling | Crash into Me
Short Stories
Sleep While I Drive "Zac tore out after her, his face plastered into a grin. The wind rushed through his hair and his shirt sleeves, billowing them out as he made his way through the woods, suddenly not caring about the twigs that scratched his face or the sloshes his shoes made as they slapped through a puddle. He followed Beth around trees and rocks, not pausing to consider that they’d gone off the path. The cool night air filled his lungs and his head, making him feel empowered, like he was floating, like he was alive. Like he was free."
Jeremy "He let them sit in peaceful silence for a few minutes until his wandering gaze fell onto the picture of Jeremy. He was a cute kid; looked to be about 3 or so in the photo. He wished he could say that Julie looked far to young to have a kid that old, but she didn't. Jeremy shared his mom's blue eyes and blond hair, but his features didn't match hers. Zac figured he must look like his father. "Where's his dad?" Zac cringed as he realized his voice sounded loud and harsh in the stillness of the room. He turned to look at Julie to gauge her reaction. There wasn't one."
Just a Boy "I couldn’t stay here in this cramped closet of a studio, sidled beside him in matching leather chairs, watching the phenomenon that is his music pour out of him, watching him look - and feel - more like the Justin I used to know than I could ever remember." ~ Justin Timberlake fic
Yet Another "All right, Sophie. You need a game plan - something, anything to help you get through this night with all limbs, dignity, and/or heart fully in tact. Some sort of mental resolution to be cordial and unaffected and more or less polite. Or I could just step in front of a bus instead of looking both ways before I cross the street. That's always an option.
A Home in my Heart "My heart begins to swell and fall all at once, missing and needing, longing and relieving. I want anything and everything from her at that moment, but most of all I just wanna go back in time and come home for Christmas." ~ Hanson Advent Calendar, 2000
Are You Afraid of the Dark? "I can't believe we're doing this. My mind is screaming at me that Zachary is asleep barely an arms length away. But I can't help it. My body must have some sort of preternatural disposition to his because before I knew it, my legs were spreading and he was shifting between them, pressing that perpetual hardness against me."
Cool "And she got me. She got me real good - in the true, old-fashioned, tie-me-down-and-make me-scream sense of the word, she got me."
Wonder "And then there are the nights it storms, the nights I can feel this monster of a bus fairly rocking against torrents of rain and wind. I lie in my bunk those nights, maybe too afraid to face the broad windows and their unobstructed view of the world and maybe too afraid of never being able to hide how much these nights make me want you." ~ Taylor x Scott slash
Trash "He let his eyes wander over the bottom level once again, and he smiled when he spotted a tall black man standing with arms folded in the corner. He caught the man's gaze and gestured with his eyes to the middle of the dance floor. The man followed his gaze and nodded. She'll do." ~ JT fic
