Never knew we were living in a world
Where time has no meaning and life's a game;
Where innocence is no longer sacred
And the dictionary now holds no shame.
Hopeless matrimony leads our future
As we glide by on wings without luster.
Illusionary beliefs hold us now,
Standing here, in the ruins, as always.
We bow down to what may be fictional
And live in a way we were warned about.
Child and adult alike live with pain;
Good people are killed over tiny things.
Life and how you live it makes you the same
As a million others by the same name.
