Of Politics and Government

Politics are merely ministrations made with purpose of order, purpose of denial, or purpose of destruction. Laws are meant for order, politicians meant to deny, and proverbial justice, to destroy. Politicians are corrupt because politics are; some bits of law have merit, others have mistake. With politics comes money, and with money comes stupidity. Completing the cycle, with stupidity come politics. Clever men become politicians with intent to fool; stupid men become politicians for lack of better available position; dishonest men merely become politicians with ease. There is no true right and wrong in politics, only what can make you rich and what can make you powerful. Few men practice the trade without lining their pockets in the filth of both. Those who don't do not prosper merely because they cannot afford to. Politics performs under many names: in America, Democracy; in England, Constitutional Monarchy; other countries call their star a different name, but it always wears the same face beneath the facade. No, politics is not a profession of honor, nor of justice, nor of determining right and wrong: it is a ploy to get the people who lie the best into the place in people's minds where lying is needed the least. Government must be thought over carefully by people who care, yet it is placed in the hands of people who, seemingly, do not care at all. It is nothing more than a slightly controlled form of anarchy; as though we might as well be without for the condition of what we have. Concern yourself not with what politics bring you, but with what it takes away. Human society needs rules to perform efficently, and with precision, and this requires some form of governing rule; however, human society is lacking in well-performing rulemakers. The whole ordeal wastes precious money; by investing in government, you invest in order that strives to keep order but doesn't. Government is a waste of money, politicians waste it. A vicious cycle is formed where nothing is truly accomplished; any problems which might be solved inevitably cause other problems. Ludicrously, many expect change to come about in politics even when nothing is being done to cause change. If he who lets himself study the law practices as most law men do, let him realize what he is doing so that he may run to a better profession. Politically, government is a sham.
